For billing contacts: managing the subscription

A billing contact, such as a finance officer who isn't on the board, sees only the Billing page: the plan, payments and invoices, never board papers.

Updated

Kylie Ferris is Drop Bear Rescue’s finance officer. She pays the bills but isn’t on the board, so Priya invited her as the billing contact. When Kylie signs in, she sees Home and Billing, and nothing else.

The Billing page as Kylie sees it: an active subscription, the Essentials, Professional and Enterprise plans, and who is told about payments.

What’s on the Billing page

  • Subscription: whether the board is on a trial, active, or has a payment problem.
  • Choose a plan: Essentials or Professional, annually or monthly, or talk to us about Enterprise. Prices are per board, in AUD plus GST, with unlimited members. Pay by card or direct debit.
  • Manage billing: once you’re subscribed, update the card, download invoices or change plan in the billing portal.
  • Who we tell: the primary contact hears about the trial ending and any payment problem. The billing contact hears about payments.

Not-for-profits get a discount. Email support to have it applied.

If the subscription ends

Nothing is deleted for non-payment. The board becomes read-only: everyone can still sign in, and read and download its papers, minutes and registers, for 12 months. After that we give 90 days’ notice before deleting it. Paying at any time restores it straight away.

The company secretary can see and do everything on this page too.
